96% of survey respondents said life in Vietnam is affordable and an expat’s disposable income is more than enough to cover daily costs. Foreigners said they were satisfied with local job opportunities. 88% of respondents said they were pleased with life in Vietnam.

Every year, InterNations, an expat network, surveys expats in 187 countries and territories to rate accommodations, living costs, healthcare, and local friendliness in the host country. This year’s survey included 20,000 expats around the world. Taiwan (China) topped this year’s list.
