Called "Investor Care", the task force will help improve the business environment and strengthen administrative reforms thus helping the province maintain its top position in rankings.
The task force, managed by the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, comprises of representatives of investment promotion agencies. It will help tackle difficulties facing investment projects and promptly promote investment. Vu Tien Loc, Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, 'Investor care is like a family doctor who can take care of investors throughout the project circle helping them to settle all related procedures. This is an outstanding idea of Quang Ninh province reflecting its determination to continue reforms in the future.'
Last year, Quang Ninh province topped the country in the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), the Provincial Administrative Reform Index (PAR), the Satisfaction Index of Public Administration Services (SIPAS), and the Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI). The province ranks 3rd in the ICT Index.
