A photo exhibition is one of  activities of the National Action Month for Work Safety and Hygiene

The event, hosted by the Central Steering Committee for Action Month for Work Safety and Hygiene, focuses on reform and effectiveness towards grassroots businesses. Nguyen Anh Tho, Deputy Head of the Work Safety Department of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, said the action month aims to raise the awareness of authorities and employers on work safety and hygiene to reduce risks of unsafe work, and occupational diseases and accidents. Mr. Tho said: “The launch ceremony is followed by specialized activities, dialogues with businesses on safety for young workers, training programs for employers and employees. Management agencies will increase inspection in key areas, including Ho Chi Minh city, Binh Duong, Ba Ria Vung Tau, and Dong Nai, and in high risk sectors like construction, manufacturing, and electricity.”
