(VOVWORLD) - The first batch of Vietnamese lychees with traceability stamp itrace247 arrived at Charles de Gaulle International Airport in France on Saturday. A ton of Thieu lychee from Hai Duong province has been exported to France under the cooperation between the Vietnam Trade Office in France and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency.

Vu Anh Son, Head of the Vietnam Trade Office in France, said that after launching an online marketing program in several months, Rong Do Trade, Services, and Production Company has successfully exported the first batch of Thieu lychees to sell at the Asian supermarket chain in Paris.

With the traceability stamp itrace 247, French consumers can access information of the producers, production and processing procedures, and quality certificates.

Traceability stamp itrace247 offers consumers with transparent information, establishes a link from farm to table, and shows Vietnam’s strategic and responsible management policy.

A similar order is scheduled to be imported to France to explore the market every week in June, toward the plan of importing 10 tons by air and sea in 2022.

Last week nearly a ton of Thieu lychees was shipped to the Czech Republic by air.
