A highlight will be a meeting between the Prime Minister and 400 highly-skilled workers in Ho Chi Minh City. VGCL will propose the government incentives and mechanisms to encourage highly-skilled workers in the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Vu Manh Tiem, Deputy Director of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's Committee for Communications and Education, said: "A seminar will be held to mark the 90th founding anniversary of the VGCL. This year, we’ll award outstanding Trade Union cadres for the very first time."
To mark the occasion, a month on labour safety and hygiene will be launched in Quang Nam province in early May.
