According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s decision, the delegation is led by Tran Duc Phan, Deputy Head of the General Department of Physical Training and Sports. His two deputies are Hoang Quoc Vinh, Director of the Department of High Sports Performance 1 and Ngo Ich Quan, Director of the Department of High Sports Performance 2.

The departure ceremony of the Vietnamese sports delegation will take place at the National Sports Training Center in Hanoi on Thursday evening.

SEA Games from May 12 to 23 will feature 40 sports and expects to attract around 10,000 athletes and officials from 11 Southeast Asian countries.
