Addressing the event on Wednesday in Hanoi, former Director of the Central Institute of Economic Research and Management, Nguyen Dinh Cung, said the state capital should be defined clearly to ensure good governance.

“When the State retrieves shares then State capital should be treated as wholly owned by the enterprise in case. We cannot have one business with dozens of assets managed in different ways, such as land, public assets and houses. We should have a clear concept of capital to ensure better corporate governance,” according to Mr. Cung.
