VOV hopes for more cooperation with EU Delegation to Vietnam - ảnh 1 VOV President Nguyen The Ky  (R) receives Giorgio Aliberti, EU Ambassador to Vietnam, in Hanoi on December 6, 2019.

At Friday’s reception in the National Radio Center in Hanoi for Giorgio Aliberti, Ambassador and Head of the EU Delegation to Vietnam, Mr. Ky said: “Our responsibility and desire is to strengthen the Vietnam-EU cooperation as both sides have agreed on a comprehensive cooperation. Next year Vietnam will assume ASEAN chair and a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the 2020-2021 term, and Vietnam and the EU celebrate 30 years of diplomatic relations. We hope to work closely with the EU Delegation to Vietnam to enhance our cooperative ties.”

Ambassador Aliberti said the EU always wants to further develop  relations with South East Asian nations including Vietnam and is ready to share EU information with VOV.

“I arrive at the moment when many important agreements have been signed. But of course, now it’s the most difficult time and we have to implement these agreements. It’s a challenge but also gives us a lot of opportunities. So we are happy to be here as we can do it together so that the EU and Vietnam partnership agreements will be realized as schedueled. We want to boost the Vietnam-EU relations via communications channels so that the public will know more about the EU,” Ambassador Aliberti noted.

On this occasion, VOV President Ky invited the EU Delegation to Vietnam to jointly organize cultural exchanges, especially the celebrations of the Vietnam-EU diplomatic relations at VOV.
