Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Tran Thanh Nam pointed out problems that need to be resolved in credits, production costs, fee and tax, logistic services, farm product preservation, custom clearance procedures at border gates, and supply of input for production.

“Localities, particularly large production areas before harvest, should continue to promote their consumption plans from last year. They should have specific plans to help production, farmers, cooperatives, and businesses to enhance agricultural consumption and resolve stagnancy in some localities,” Nam said.

Working teams of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance will be organized to promptly resolve agricultural production and consumption issues, especially at the border gates.
