The plant which has a total area of 360,000 square meters is VinFast’s second Vietnam factory in operation, following the one in Hai Phong city, and its fifth manufacturing facility globally.

In its initial phase, it will focus on producing compact electric vehicles such as the VF 3, Minio Green, EC Van, and several upcoming models. Products manufactured at VinFast Ha Tinh are aimed not only at the domestic market but also for export to international markets.

In the first five months of 2025, VinFast held the largest market share in Vietnam, with over 56,000 vehicles sold, led by strong sales of the VF 3, VF 5, and VF 6 models. VinFast EVs have also gained popularity in overseas markets such as the Philippines and Indonesia.
