National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue attended the event, which coincided with the 30th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations.
Mr. Hue said that the role of science, technology and innovation was affirmed in the 13th Party Congress resolution and included in the objectives of the National Action Plan. It is considered a key to fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals, to economic development, and to solving many socio-economic problems, he added.
“I believe that VIFOTEC will continue to lay the foundation for the passion to do science and technology research among people from all walks of life, arouse a love for creativity among young people, and inspire them to become inventors and contributors to building a prosperous nation,” said Mr. Hue.
At the ceremony, he presented the first-class Labor Order to VIFOTEC.
