He urged the Institute to ensure the effective operation of the Da Lat nuclear reactor and its research equipment, while strengthening its capacity and developing human resources.
“This will contribute to advancing Vietnam’s nuclear sector to the level of developed countries by 2045,” Mr. Son stressed.
The Institute’s core mandate is to operate the reactor and related equipment for research, applications, and training. It has applied nuclear technology across a range of socio-economic fields, including healthcare, agriculture, energy, transport, irrigation, and environmental protection.
