Vietnam’s National Day celebrated in Australia

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Australia on Saturday held a meeting to celebrate Vietnam’s 75th National Day.

In her address, Minister Counsellor Pham Thuy Nga said Vietnam is aiming to fulfill set targets, prepare for the upcoming 13th National Party Congress, and work out orientations and strategies on national development until 2025 and 2030 and Vision to 2030. 

Nga praised the Vietnamese community, intellectuals, businessmen, professors, students and other outstanding individuals for their efforts to gain respect and support from the local people and government. She said these efforts have contributed to raising Vietnam’s international status and strengthening the Vietnam-Australia Strategic Partnership for an Asia-Pacific region of peace, stability, and development.

Nga said the two countries share interests, vision, and strategic values bilaterally and multilaterally and in coping with challenges in the region like the East Sea issue and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. She expressed her belief in stronger ties between the two countries.
