Vietnam’s first education quality management system wins international recognition

(VOVWORLD) - The Integrated Management System (IMS) of Son La province’s Department of Education and Training became the first educational institution in Vietnam to be internationally recognised.

At a ceremony on Tuesday, FrenchCert UK announced that Son La’s IMS meets international standards.

Building and applying the IMS was a breakthrough in the educational quality management process. The system guides the development of comprehensive quality education, ensures equal access, and promotes lifelong learning opportunities for learners. Quality management activities are clearly defined by specific procedures and actions.

To date, only 27 educational institutions in Asia have been certified with IMS certification ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018.
