Vietnam’s export-import value increases 17 fold in two decades

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s export-import value increased 17 fold from 2001 to 2019, according to the General Department of Customs.

Trade grew from 30 billion USD to 500 billion USD. From 2006 to 2018 Vietnam’s World Trade Organization export ranking rose from 50th to 26th and its import ranking rose from 44th to 23rd. Vietnam is among the top 30 countries in export-import turnover.
