Vietnam’s daily COVID cases decrease for three consecutive days

(VOVWORLD) -From 4pm on Saturday to 4pm on Sunday, the National System of COVID-19 Case Management recorded 14,978 new infections, including 44 imported cases and 14,934 cases detected domestically in 62 provinces and cities.

Hanoi continued recording the highest number of cases in the country with 2,967 cases. However, the number of daily new cases nationwide decreased by 724 compared to the previous day, maintaining a downward trend for three consecutive days.

As of 2:30 pm on Sunday, Vietnam had administered a total of nearly 176 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine. 48 out of 63 provinces and cities administered two doses of vaccine for 90% of their population, including Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho.
