Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage Day celebrated

(VOVworld) – The National Unity-Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage week closed in Hanoi on Monday. The event, which was held to mark Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage Day, attracted 22,000 visitors. Nguyen Thanh Hai of Can Tho city said: “This event offered an opportunity for provinces nationwide to introduce their products. Unity and mutual understanding have been strengthened through these exchanges.”

An international symposium on the preservation and development of world heritage sites opened in Hanoi on Monday. Delegates discussed the preservation of the Thang Long royal citadel and the sustainable management of other heritage sites in Vietnam.

In Phu Tho province 19 artists received the “Meritorious Artist” title and 18 others received the title “Xoan singing artisans” for their contribution to the preservation and development of traditional Xoan singing.
