NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan arrives in Amsterdam on March 26, 2018, for an official visit to the Netherlands.

Addressing a ceremony to celebrate 45 years of Vietnam-Netherlands diplomatic ties, Ms Ngan noted that the two countries have become strategic partners in climate change adaptation, state management, food security, and sustainable agriculture.

“Vietnam is accelerating extensive reform across the board and has become an important link in global economic connectivity. In this process, we have received valuable support from the Netherlands through many cooperative programs,” she said.        

During the visit, Chairwoman Ngan is scheduled to pay a courtesy visit to Queen Maxima, and meet Dutch businesspeople and the local Vietnamese community.
