(VOVWORLD) - Citizens of Vietnam’s three biggest cities will get five-year multi-entry visas to South Korea.

The C-3 visa will be granted to permanent residents of Hanoi, HCM city and Da Nang city without any occupational priority from next Monday. The new visa policy is South Korea’s first for a Southeast Asian country. C-3 visa holders can stay in South Korea for up to 30 days, with no restrictions on the number of visits for five years. President Moon Jae-in said in March that Vietnam is South Korea’s most important partner in Southeast Asia and a key partner in its New Southern Policy. South Korean Ambassador Kim Do-hyon said the new visa policy is expected to increase business cooperation, investment, and promote relations between the two nations.
