Vietnamese songs honored in France

(VOVworld) – A performance called “Beloved Homeland” took place at the Espace Reuilly convention center in Paris, France, introducing Vietnamese classical melodies to an overseas Vietnamese and French audience.

The performance was delivered by Hop Ca Que Huong (The Homeland Choir) and the symphony orchestra of Rouen city, the capital of the Normandy region. Head of the Vietnam Delegation to UNESCO Ambassador Le Hong Phan and representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy in France attended the event.

The organizers also held an exhibition to display images and maps of Vietnam and its maritime sovereignty.
