(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese delegation to the 37th Congress of the French Communist Party (PCF) had a number of working sessions with French politicians from June 4-6 to bolster ties.

Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and head of the committee’s Organization Commission Pham Minh Chinh led the Vietnamese delegation. During the meetings, the two sides hailed cooperation between Vietnamese and French localities, businesses, and agencies. Trade links, and delegation exchanges have deepened the two countries’ strategic partnership. French President Francois Hollande will visit Vietnam in September. On the sidelines of the Congress, the Vietnamese delegates met with international friends to brief them on outcomes of the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and discuss future cooperation.
