Both sides acknowledged that cooperation and friendship between the Vietnamese and Chinese armies and navies have grown robustly to become a pillar of Vietnam-China relations. They agreed to strengthen the ties and tackle disagreements in line with common conceptions of the two Parties, States and army leaders to sustain security, peace, and stability in the region.
