The Party chief received Men Sam An, Vice President of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), Deputy Prime Minister, and President of the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association, in Hanoi on Friday.

He said the two countries successfully coordinated to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Prime Minister Hun Sen's "Path to overthrow the genocidal regime".

Party leader Trong emphasized the meaning of solidarity and mutual help between the parties and people of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

The Cambodian guest thanked Vietnam for the great support and assistance for Cambodia’s national liberation and saving the Cambodian people from the genocide in the past, as well as in today’s national construction and development.

Meeting Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An on Friday, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said he hopes she will continue to make contributions to promoting the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, especially cooperation between border localities, as well as coordination on international and regional issues.

The Prime Minister expressed his hope that Cambodia will continue to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese citizens, businesses and the Vietnamese community to live and do business there.

Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An praised the development of relations between the two countries over the past half century, pledging more contributions to the friendship between the two nations.
