The Vietnamese leaders said they believe that with bilateral relations nurtured over the past 25 years, the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Partnership will continue to grow in a profound, effective, and sustainable fashion, benefiting the two peoples and contributing to peace, security, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.        

The same day, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh congratulated Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.

The Vietnamese leaders invited the US President-elect and Vice President-elect to visit Vietnam at their earliest opportunity.
