(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Farmers Association Central Committee and the Farmers Association of the northern province of Cao Bang held a meeting on Sunday to respond to the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26th. This year’s international day, also Vietnam’s Anti-drug Day, is themed "Make health your 'new high' in life, not drugs" to raise public awareness and create an action movement with the involvement of all farmers association’s members and officials. Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Association Nguyen Duy Luong said at the meeting that society as a whole is responsible for drug abuse prevention which is a criterion of the Vietnam’s rural development program for sustainable development.
