(VOVworld) - Dancers of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet on Monday treated a Hanoi audience to a live performance of “Graduation Ball”, a ballet that premiered in Sydney, Australia.

Under the direction of Australian dancer Colin Peasley, Vietnamese artists portrayed the complexity, humor, and romance of a student’s ball in 19^th century Vienna. The performance, sponsored by the Australian Ballet and the Australian Embassy in Vietnam, is part of activities celebrating the 40^th anniversary of Vietnam-Australia diplomatic ties.
