Ambassador Pham Huu Chi sent his Tet wishes to overseas Vietnamese saying that the Party and State always consider overseas Vietnamese an integral part of the Vietnamese people. On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy in the Republic of Korea presented Tet gifts to the Overseas Vietnamese Association, Vietnamese Students Association, and representatives of the two Ly clans in the Republic of Korea. The embassy honored outstanding individuals and organizations in 2014.

Nogent-sur-Marne, a city on the outskirts of Paris, held an event to celebrate the Lunar New Year on Saturday. The event, hosted by the Vietnamese People’s Association in France, attracted more than 1,000 Vietnamese people living in France. A prayer for peace was held on this occasion
