Vietnamese citizens brought home from Japan

(VOVWORLD) - 220 Vietnamese citizens were repatriated from Japan on Tuesday on a flight arranged by Vietnamese authorities, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, Vietjet Air, and Japanese agencies.

The passengers included children under 18; pregnant women; elderly persons; persons with illnesses; guest workers with expired contracts; students whose dormitories had closed; and other people in extremely difficult circumstances.

The Vietnamese Embassy sent staff to the airport to assist with boarding procedures. Upon landing at Cam Ranh International Airport, all crewmembers and passengers were given medical exams and quarantined in accordance with current health regulations.
