At a ceremony in Mozambique’s capital Maputo on Monday, Superior Monk Thich Dong Hue, who is a member of the Executive Council of the VBS Central Committee and head of the VBA, expressed his hope that local people will soon recover from the storm, which ravaged Mozambique’s central region in mid-March.

Movitel, a joint venture between Vietnam’s military-run telecom group Viettel and Mozambique’s investment company SPI, donated 50 tons of food to Sofala province, which was hardest hit by the storm.
