Vietnamese blue beret doctors help South Sudanese people

(VOVWORLD) -Doctors of Vietnam's Level 2 Field Hospital taking part in the UN Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) visited and delivered gifts to children last week, the International Day of the African Child.

Members of Level 2 Field Hospital No. 4 had brought gifts from Vietnam such as T-shirts, learning kits, and pictures. At South Sudan’s Unity State Department of Education, the doctors conveyed their sympathy for the difficulties of local children. Blue beret soldiers from Vietnam also visited and presented gifts to students at Charles Kuot Primary School.

Earlier the hospital organized an emergency training session for UNMISS Level 1 hospitals on monkeypox diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
