Prime Minister Phuc said despite national difficulties Vietnam’s participation in UN peace-keeping missions is in line with the foreign policy of the Vietnamese Party, State, and government. Vietnam has always received support from other countries, particularly Australia, to deploy a field hospital in South Sudan in October, 2018.

Mr. Morrison said over the past 21 years, Vietnam and Australia have forged closer defense ties. He expressed his wish to strengthen defense cooperative projects with Vietnam.
