Addressing a spring festival at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Hanoi on Saturday, the President reiterated the Party guidelines and State policies to care for ethnic minorities, especially in infrastructure development in remote and mountainous areas while preserving their cultural identities for social economic advancement. The President expected further convergence and spinning off effects by the annual cultural activities at the village: “I am pleased to see cultural identities finest values of the 54 ethnic groups being represented not only here but also up and down the country. This will create an inspiring spin-off effect in daily life rather than in the archives. These diversified cultural finest values will promote the Vietnamese cultural beauty. I call for practical activities to support ethnic people in social economic development, education, culture, healthcare and social welfare as required by the 13th National Party Congress’ resolution.”
