The World Group II play-offs are scheduled to take place in March next year.

During the Group III playoffs held in Jordan from Tuesday to Saturday last week, Vietnam’s four-member team faced eight rivals: Hong Kong (China), Syria, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Pacific Oceania, and Malaysia.

The event’s No1 seed, China’s Hong Kong team, beat host Jordan 2-0. Pacific Oceania beat Syria 2-1.
