Silver medalists are Nguyen Tuan Phong, an 11th grader of Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted in Bac Ninh province and Pham Trung Kien, a 12th grader of Tran Phu High School for the Gifted in Hai Phong City.  

Le Thuy Mai Anh, an 11th grader of Ha Long High School for the Gifted in Quang Ninh province, won the bronze medal.

The 2022 European Physics Olympiad drew 182 contestants from 37 countries. The Vietnamese team comprised of 5 students.

This was the 4th time Vietnam attended the event. At last year’s virtual competition, the Vietnamese team won 1 gold medal and 1 bronze medal.
