Vietnam welcomes Czech Republic’s resumption of working visas for Vietnamese

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Wednesday applauded the Czech Republic’s resumption of granting working visas for Vietnamese citizens, which is scheduled to begin this month.

At a meeting with Vice Chairman of the Czech Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies Vojtěch Filip, who is also Chairman of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSCM) in Hanoi, the Prime Minister said Vietnam will increase the efficacy of the management of its workers. Mr. Phuc praised cooperative projects between Vietnam and the Czech Republic in health care and the automobile industry, as well as their joint efforts to launch direct flights between Hanoi and Prague, and pledged to create all possible advantageous conditions for the projects. The Prime Minister pledged to create favorable conditions for Czech enterprises to invest in energy, infrastructure, environmental protection, and food processing in Vietnam. He called for the Czech Parliament’s support for the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement and the Investment Protection Agreement. Vojtěch Filip said the Czech Republic is promoting cooperation with Vietnam in  car manufacturing, adding that part of the production line will be set up in Vietnam in the  near future.
