Two sides shared their experience in training officers to deal with making arrests, terrorism, suicide, ransomware, persuasion, and self control.

They signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on transnational crime prevention cooperation during a visit to the US by Vietnamese Minister of Public Security To Lam in 2019. The MOU covers crime prevention, training, and capacity building for the Vietnamese police force.
