The Vietnamese negotiating team was led by Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien.

The two teams agreed to hold an online meeting in the coming days to address unresolved issues and prepare for an online discussion between US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick and Minister Dien, who said Vietnam is determined to promote trade relations with the US in a balanced and sustainable manner for the benefit of the people and businesses of the two countries.
