Mr. Lam said Vietnam desires to develop bilateral ties stably, effectively, and substantively to benefit the two peoples and make greater contributions to regional and global security and development.

Minister Lam asked the US Government to continue creating favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community in the US, increase specialized cooperation with the Ministry of Public Security, and soon sign an agreement on mutual legal assistance in an extradition agreement and criminal matters.
