During his stay in the US, he worked with a number of agencies of the Congress and the Federal Government, some members of Senate and House of Representatives, and representatives of the government of California and the University of UC Berkeley.

At the meetings and contacts, the two sides shared information and experience in law-making and enforcement, advocated close cooperation in energy transition and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, environmental protection, and response to climate change. They considered these key issues of cooperation in the future.

In addition, the two sides also shared and exchanged information and experiences of legislative and supervisory activities in digital transformation, water source security, energy security, and illegal fishing and global and regional issues of mutual concern.
