At a meeting with USAID Vietnam Mission Director Ann Marie Yastishock on Thursday, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son expressed his thank to Ms. Ann Marie’s positive assessment of Vietnam’s tertiary education. He stressed the need to strengthen capability of the quality verification centers saying they serve as an important tool to better manage self-financed universities.

Ms. Ann Marie Yastishock expressed her belief that Vietnam will be the pioneer in tertiary education in Southeast Asia. She said the USAID Vietnam would support Vietnam to modernize its tertiary education.
