If realized, the agreements could bring total bilateral agricultural trade to approximately 2.5 billion USD over the next three years.

This encouraging development reflects Vietnam’s strong commitment to boosting imports from the United States, contributing to more balanced and mutually beneficial trade ties.

Senator Boozman and Representative Thompson welcomed the outcome of Minister Duy’s visit and expressed optimism about the future of bilateral agricultural cooperation.

They affirmed strong support for collaboration across all levels—from government agencies to research institutes and universities in both countries.
