Vietnam to focus on 9 groups of socio-economic solutions

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam will focus on 9 groups of solutions to boost socio-economic development, said Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son at a press conference in Hanoi on Wednesday to announce the outcomes of the Government’s monthly meeting for July.

The solutions include stabilizing the macro-economy, controlling inflation, promoting growth, recovering the economy, growing sustainably, stepping up economic restructuring, devising innovative growth models, increasing the use of technology, and promoting digital transformation, innovation, the digital economy, and the green economy.

Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Dao Minh Tu said the central bank is finalizing revisions to the Law on Anti-Money Laundering, which will be submitted to the National Assembly’s year-end session.

Tu said Bitcoin and other virtual currencies are not real money and cannot perform the function of legal currency in Vietnam.
