After a lengthy trial, Doan Thi Huong pleaded guilty last month to a lesser charge of "causing injury" in the 2017 death of Kim Chol. Weeks earlier, Indonesian Siti Aisyah - the only other person to face trial over the killing carried out with a banned nerve agent at Kuala Lumpur airport in 2017 - was released and flew home after her murder charge was dropped. Both women denied committed murder and said they thought they were part of a TV prank. Huong is expected to fly to Vietnam the same day.
