NA Chairman Hue delivered the opening remarks at the Vietnam Socio-Economic Forum themed "Reinforcing the Macroeconomic Foundation, Promoting Sustainable Recovery and Development" on Sunday at the National Convention Center, Hanoi. The Forum was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and about 400 delegates.

The National Assembly Chairman praised the Spring and Autumn Economic Forums of the 13th and 14th National Assembly and the Vietnam Economic Forum 2021 of the 15th National Assembly.
He said that thanks to the correct and timely decisions of the Party Central Committee and the National Assembly, and the drastic management of the Government from central to local levels, Vietnam’s socio-economy remains stable and achieves important results.

The organization of the Forum is of great significance as the National Assembly is preparing to hold the 4th session in October to strengthen the macroeconomic foundation, minimize negative impacts, and seize opportunities, especially for fiscal, monetary, and social-security policy, to make the economy to overcome difficulties, recover and grow, the NA Chairman said.
