Vietnam reports new COVID-19 case returning from Russia

(VOVWORLD) - A 53-year-old man returning from Russia has been confirmed the latest COVID-19 case in Vietnam, raising the total number of infections to 373, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control. 

The man, who was onboard flight VN5062, landed at Can Tho International Airport last week and was sent to a quarantine center in Ca Mau Province. He is being treated at Ca Mau General Hospital.

Of Vietnam’s 373 COVID-19 cases, 353 have fully recovered as Vietnam entered its 89th straight day with no community transmissions on Tuesday.
