Vietnam reports 1,381 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam on Sunday reported an additional 1,381 COVID-19 cases, down more than 200 cases compared to Saturday, said the Ministry of Health.

During the day, 8,600 patients recovered, no deaths from COVID-19 was reported. Since the onset of the pandemic, Vietnam’s caseload has reached over 11.3 million, ranking 12th out of 227 countries and territories, while with the ratio of infections to 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 112.

To date, nearly 10 million patients have recovered from the disease. Death toll accounts for 0.4% of the total number of infections.
