Vietnam records 10,280 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam confirmed 10,280 new infections of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the total count so far to nearly 360,000.

Of the latest cases, 4,251 were detected in HCM city, the largest coronavirus epicenter in Vietnam at the moment, and 3,183 in its neighboring Binh Duong province.

8 localities including Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, and Hoa Binh have gone through 14 days with no new infections.

154,612 patients in Vietnam have recovered and 8,666 have died.

More than 17 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered nationwide.
