Speaking at a meeting to receive the ACB’s Chairmanship rotated from the Malaysian Ambassador, Mr. Lan highlighted Vietnam’s resolute measures and results in fighting COVID-19. He said Vietnam maintained online contact with other countries during the epidemic and strengthened cooperation with other countries to overcome difficulties caused by the epidemic. Vietnam had successfully organized the online ASEAN Summit and ASEAN+3 Summit. Vietnam has worked closely with ASEAN in setting up the ASEAN COVID-19 response fund, ASEAN medical supplies reserve, and standard operating procedures for public health emergencies as well as plans on post-COVID-19 economic recovery.
