Vietnam receives COVID-19 vaccines, test kits from Hungary

(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Health on Tuesday received 100,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine and 100,000 test kits donated by the Hungarian Government.

At the reception ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health Truong Quoc Cuong thanked the Hungarian Government, organizations and businesses for providing medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to help improve the quality of Vietnam’s medical service.

Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam Öry Csaba discussed with leaders of the Ministry of Health cooperation in research and development of vaccines and biological tests, as well as the possible phase 3 clinical trials of the NanoCovax vaccine developed by Vietnam’s Nanogen Pharmaceutical Biotechnology JSC.
