(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has ratified a plan to implement the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). 

The plan aims to clarify the responsibilities of ministries and sectors in implementing the Convention to fulfill Vietnam’s obligations as a convention member in accordance with its Constitution, laws and socio-economic conditions. Under the plan, ministries and sectors will focus on communicating policies to support people with disabilities, their rights and responsibilities, and revising legal documents to help those people in healthcare, education, vocational training and employment.
